"29 Ounce Root Beer Float"
It is hard to beleive that this vehicle is almost 100 years old, but it is. This Ford Type 130A Deluxe Delivery Car was prototyped by Ford in 1928 and sold in 1929 for $595.00. It was produced in the Dearborn Michigan Prototype Shop on November 21, 1928 and is one of 5 hand built concept sedan delivery vehicles assembled.
While the vehicle had already been transformed into a hot rod, the new buyer John Zieba thought it was under achieving when he found it in the Dearborn Lakes, MI area. He purchased for $13,000 and performed a total restoration in 2006.
The resulting transformation earned a First Place - Best of Class award at the prestigious 2007 Detroit Autorama Car Show.
The car came to Tennessee with John and shortly after found its current owner, Tim Goins. It is one Tim's favorites.
