1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza
JoAnne Herman is the third owner of this 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible, purchasing it in 2017.
This car was produced on July 31, 1964, and prior to JoAnne’s purchase, it spent a great deal of time sitting in a trailer. While it looked pretty good going down the road, it needed some fixes. Not surprisingly now, the more the fixed, the more they found. Being a Chicago car, rust had taken over behind the scenes. The disassembly and paint stripping process revealed more than expected.
The car was mostly restored in 2023 but is still a work in process as finishing touches are applied.
